Elf 2026-2027

Job Description

Mrs. Santa Claus’ House at the Arctic Circle is a warm and atmospheric destination where the magic of Christmas is present every day of the year. In the traditional log house, guests can meet Mrs. Claus, enjoy a peaceful Christmas atmosphere, and step into a world of stories and festive wonder.

Santa Claus Reindeer Oy is the family-owned company behind Mrs. Claus’ House, and our operations are built on responsible values, warm hospitality, and genuine care for every guest encounter. Our most important goal is to create authentic and memorable experiences that stay in our visitors’ hearts.

We are now looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer service-oriented elves for the winter season from November to April. Flexible work opportunities are available both part-time and with larger weekly hours.

Job Duties

As an elf, you will work at Mrs. Claus’ House at the Arctic Circle — a warm and magical environment where the spirit of Christmas is present every day. In the traditional log house, Christmas songs play in the background, the scent of freshly baked treats fills the air, and cheerful elves warmly welcome guests from around the world.

You are an important part of both the overall atmosphere and our guests’ experience. Your work focuses on interacting with visitors in a joyful, warm, and immersive way. At Mrs. Claus’ House, elves work both in the café area and alongside Mrs. Claus in welcoming and guiding guests.

Your workdays include greeting, guiding, and entertaining visitors, while helping maintain the magical atmosphere of the house together with the rest of the team. You will help create an experience where guests can truly step into the world of Christmas — meeting Mrs. Claus, the elves, and authentic Lapland hospitality.

The role emphasizes performance skills, natural interaction, and the ability to immerse yourself in character. Previous experience in customer service, performing, or tourism is considered an advantage, but it is not required.

Working Hours

Our winter season runs from October 2026 until February/March 2027. We are looking for team members both for busy seasonal assistance and for full-season positions with larger weekly hours (approximately 30–40 h/week).

Shifts are scheduled on weekdays and weekends, mainly between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The work can easily be combined with studies or another job.

What We Offer

  • Thorough training for the role
  • A chance to work in a unique international environment
  • Support from a caring, responsible, and practical work community
  • Flexibility to influence your working hours according to your situation
  • The opportunity to be part of the magic of Christmas 🎄

What We Expect From Applicants

  • Good customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to immerse yourself in the role and perform naturally
  • A sales-minded approach and ability to work under pressure
  • Reliability and responsibility
  • Fluent English skills (additional language skills are considered an advantage)
