Media & Content Creator Collaborations
Santa Claus Reindeer works with journalists, TV and film productions, documentary makers, photographers and professional content creators in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland.
We can assist with expert interviews, editorial enquiries, filming and photography, as well as selected content creator collaborations across our locations and services.
Media, Productions & Expertise
Our team can support media and productions with access to locations, interviews, background information and practical arrangements. Areas where we can provide local knowledge and expertise include reindeer and modern reindeer herding, reindeer welfare, tourism in Rovaniemi, Christmas traditions and Lappish food culture.
Media and production enquiries are considered individually based on the topic, context and practical requirements of each request.
For reindeer-related topics, CEO and reindeer herder Janne Körkkö can provide perspectives on modern reindeer herding and the connection between reindeer herding and tourism in Lapland. Our wider team can also support enquiries related to Mrs Santa Claus’ Christmas Cottage, Christmas traditions and Lappish food culture at Lapland Restaurant Kotahovi.
Content Creator Collaborations
We work selectively with professional content creators whose audience, content and values are a good fit with Santa Claus Reindeer and our brands. We look for collaborations that respect reindeer and animal welfare, people, local culture and the environment, and that are relevant to the creator’s audience.
We consider the creator’s wider content and commercial partnerships as part of our collaboration decisions.
When contacting us, please include your channels, audience information, collaboration idea, planned dates and what you are looking for from us. All collaboration requests are considered individually.
Filming & Practical Information
Filming and photography can be arranged at our locations in Santa Claus Village and at Taava Reindeer Farm in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland, depending on the production, season and practical requirements.
Our team has experience working with reindeer in TV, video and photography productions. Our Reindeer Guides know the individual reindeer, their temperaments and behaviour, which helps us plan filming situations and identify the right reindeer for different types of productions.
When reindeer are involved, their wellbeing always guides how filming and photography are arranged. Please contact us in advance so that we can discuss the location, schedule, access and any special requirements related to your production.
For larger productions or filming involving other areas of Santa Claus Village, additional permissions or arrangements may be required. We will help you identify what needs to be arranged in advance.
