Visiting Reindeer in Santa Claus Village in Summer & Autumn

Even though the traditional reindeer rides are not available in the snowless season, you can still meet the reindeer in Santa Claus Village! You are warmly welcome to visit our reindeer fence from early summer to mid-autumn. The visits are available non-stop throughout the day and do not require any prebooking. During your visit you will meet our charming reindeer and their calves, pet and feed them and take photos with them, while our guide tells you more about the reindeer and reindeer herding. This visit is a great way to learn more about the local lifestyle and traditions, and it’s easy to combine with your visit to Santa Claus Village.

Available: 1st of June – 31st of October or until the permanent snow arrives.

Starting times: at 10:00 – 16:00
