Hands-On, Authentic Encounters

Your group will meet the reindeer up close. Learn how they are cared for, feed them, and listen to & learn the stories passed down through generations. The farm offers a rare chance to connect with these gentle, iconic animals in their natural environment. In winter season the short reindeer sleigh ride (app 400 metres) is part of the Taava Reindeer Farm visit.

What do I need to bring?

• Your own group transportation (bus) to Taava Reindeer Farm. Driving instructions to Taava: Arrive to address: Kemijoenitäpuolentie 1135, then turn to forest road and drive app. 2km straight forward, and you will arrive to Taava Reindeer Farm. We have bus parking area. 
• Proper clothing (overalls, boots, gloves etc) for guests, according to the season
• Your tour leader (free of charge)
